As a senior IT engineer you will be responsible for supporting users across two sites, dealing with a range of issues from 1^st line through to 3^rd line.

You will also be involved with various projects, from the initial planning stages through to implementation.

What are you going to do

• Supporting approx. 70 users across two sites, dealing with a range of issues from 1^st line through to 3^rd line
• Installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware, ranging from PCs\laptops to network equipment such as routers, access points and switches and server hardware
• Involvement in the planning and implementation of various upcoming projects
• There will be occasional travel to our other site in Corby and Ireland, with potential overnight stays, required

Person Specification

• Experience with various technologies including, but not limited to:
  • Windows Server Operating Systems
  • Virtualisation technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V
  • Active Directory
  • DHCP/DNS
  • Routers, Switches and firewalls
  • Security & VLANs
  • O365, Azure, InTune
  • SQL (desirable but not essential)
  • Cisco (desirable but not essential)

• Self-motivated
• Organised
• Strong problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to talk to users of differing levels of IT knowledge
• Full driving license
