Internal Sales Executive

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Internal Sales Executive to join our sales team in this new role. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads, maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting the external sales team by providing excellent customer service and product knowledge. This is a desk-based role focused on inbound and outbound sales within a fast-paced environment.

What are you going to do

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify sales opportunities. Develop new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups.
  • Manage and nurture existing client accounts to maximize retention and growth.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide detailed information about products or services.
  • Assist with the preparation and follow up on quotations, proposals, and tenders.
  • Collaborate with the external sales team to support field activities and close deals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve client issues efficiently.

Our expectations

  • Proven experience in a sales or customer service role (preferably B2B).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to meet and exceed targets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems (e.g., ACT, Salesforce) and an good working knowledge of Sage.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and stay organised under pressure.
  • Team player with a proactive approach and positive attitude

Person Specification

  • Experience in B2B manufacturing.
  • Background in telesales or account management is an advantage.
  • Degree or diploma in business, marketing, or a related field
